(+) Virginia Home Inspection Regulations
Virginia does not require the licensing of Home Inspectors in the state. It maintains a
certification program for Home Inspectors through the Department of Professional
and Occupational Regulation. Although certification is voluntary, any inspector
who wishes to identify themselves as a "Certified Home Inspector" must complete the
state program and requirements.
