This is one of the main screens where the home inspector answers inspection items and can
add comments or pictures as needed. |

If you want to add a picture to an inspection item, select it from inside HomeGauge.
You can drag and drop your image or double-click the image thumbnail on the right. From there you can change the size of the image, crop it, rotate it, add text on the image, arrows, a grid, zoom into a specific area, and adjust the brightness or contrast. It is easy to add as many pictures as you want for an inspection item. In the case below there will be two pictures, one taken with a normal camera and a second showing the same area taken with an infrared camera.

| Line drawings are included free for you to use. Many are included without any text, so you can describe what you need right on the line drawing. |

If an inspection item needs a comment, there are many included to choose from. This helps
minimize typing. If the comment you need is not there, you can add it on the fly
for the next time. |
 |

|
Some auto-comments allow you to enter "Smart Text", or combinations of possibilities
that may apply to your discoveries during the home inspection. Just select the smart text
you want to place in that comment. This feature minimizes typing and allows limitless
combinations that can be created within that comment. |

After you are done with all of the inspection items, you can look at a preview of what the
printed report will look like. |

Later, when you need to open that report again, reports can
be sorted by date, customer, address, zip code or agent. |

| Run reports to examine your statistics, such as number of inspections per month, inspections per city, inspections per referral, inspection fees per month, and mileage. |

| Keep track of your appointments with a built-in calendar. The HomeGauge calendar also integrates with Microsoft Outlook. |

| Use the "Send Letter" feature to mail merge a letter with contacts from your contact list. Great for follow up letters to help you generate more business. You can use pre-made letters or edit your own letters to say whatever you need and automatically pull in the contact's information. |

| Change your software look/color scheme anytime by going to the menu "View - Theme". |
