InterNACHI just held a Software Throwdown featuring (in order of appearance): Home Inspector Pro, 3D, BestInspectors.net, and of course, HomeGauge Software! There were over 1,000 inspectors who viewed the Software Throwdown. Each company was given 7 minutes to make a presentation, but only HomeGauge stayed within the time limit. All the others took much longer, and rumor has it that HomeGauge was the Software Throwdown winner!
After the Software Throwdown, HomeGauge was invited back by Ben Gromicko and InterNACHI to give a one hour webinar on HomeGauge and its cutting edge features!

We were the first to come out with it and currently the only inspection software out there that can do it! Our competitors (followers, I should say) are feeling the heat and are trying to come out with video or expanding pictures in their PDF report. As you know, PDF's are big, bulky, clunky documents, good for saving a document, but no where near the sexiness of html. Our competitors are going to try to host video clips on their server and then display them to the customer when they click on them in the pdf. This method is highly suspect and we doubt it is going to be reliable. Their customers will be viewing their pdf reports using different browsers and devices, and many browsers do not display pdfs properly — we're giving you the extra big stinkeye, Firefox! This will cause more difficulty and uncertainty, whether the customer will be able to view the videos being streamed from a server on their report. HomeGauge has all this solved by using html (what websites are made of), so your report is exactly like a website. Plus, html just works better than a pdf, especially on a mobile device. Is your agent looking at your report on their mobile device?
