Sneak Preview!

Get ready for the new HomeGauge version 4.3 to be released at the ASHI Inspection World show this Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, in Las Vegas! The rest of the world will have to wait until next week.

Come by and do some free training with us!

The only cost is $50 for ASHI's Exhibit Hall Pass. Spend all day training with HG for free! We have the largest booth at the convention and we made it into the HG Training Center. There will be 6 HG Staffers there to help you with any problem. Bring your laptops and come see us. (Free HG shirts to anyone who sits for a training class, while supplies last.)

HomeGauge 2010

Jump up and shout! The birds are chirping and the flowers are beginning to bloom. What a beautiful sunshiny day it is... ok, ok, it's dead winter, windy and cold to the bone. But now's the time to get a month or two ahead of your competition, just like HomeGauge has with its 4.3 release... including energy!

We also have been working on a new HG inspector search engine, due out in March, that will provide you more exposure, more choices, and more business for your company. HG Services is helping you get in front of more people and more companies.

We have many things planned this year. Do you? We plan to release the long awaited ultimate HomeGauge Version 5 that will knock your socks off (ever had that happen?). We plan to add energy training, as Ron and Patrick at HG embark on their journey to BPI Building Analyst and HERS rater status. We have set many more goals that we plan to achieve. Is this your year? Are you going to take advantage of holes left in your area where your competitor once stood? Or perhaps he's still there, but numb. Agents that once seemed unreachable because they were too busy or locked in with your competitor are waiting for you to come a calling (easy pickins). Take all day and go over your whole company. Rethink your company image, marketing, your website, and your report. Next do this...

Make one assumption, that every mortgage broker, real estate attorney, and agent is open season. All their contacts that involve a home inspector are stale, old, and diluted. Out with the old and in with the new!

You need to go and make one on one contact with as many as you can. Have a few ready-made responses to a few anticipated questions or comments. One idea is to offer to do 3 listing inspections (of his or hers) for x price, due only if they close. It doesn't cost her a thing, except you want her to meet you at the listing and when you return to review the report with the seller (so she can see you in your zone). This, on top of the phone communication with the agent coordinating the inspection, can build a relationship. After a re-inspection, or if the report is clean, make up 10 copies and drop them off with the homeowner. Encourage the buyers who come by to leave with your report. They all can't buy that house, but they likely will use you on their inspection. Be sure and keep the homeowner supplied with your reports. Do this with 5 agents in February and make some relationships!

Something new in February?
