Did you know...
1. Automatically include comments at report start.
Go to the inspection item and select the auto-comment button. This will open the "select a comment window." Highlight the comment that you want to always appear in a report. Once the comment is highlighted select the edit button at the right side of the "select a comment window." This is the button with the pencil image on it. This will open the edit comment window. At the top right of this window is the checkbox that will automatically include this comment. Select ok on both windows until you are back at the inspection item. Be sure then to select the SaveT button at the second toolbar (or File Save Template).
2. How to Duplicate any section (bathrooms, kitchens, heat pumps, etc.)
In HG with your template open to do an inspection, click on the COMPONENTS Bar on the left. Then select the section you want to duplicate. Look at the top right corner on the duplicate page for two blue plus bars, select duplicate, then follow the prompts to name your duplicate sections.
3. Besides the agent or client, did you know that your office manager can use the online calendar to schedule you and your multi-inspector firm? That information can then be downloaded by the inspector into the report folder of HG software. He then opens the report and all the inspection info automatically fills the report out. No double entry. No errors from double entry. After the report is sent, you can export the report to QuickBooks, which means the inspector never had to fill out the report info. Once the online appointment is scheduled, in HG software select SHGI at the top and then choose the command "Download Online appointments" to bring the appointment into your inspection software.
