Goodbye Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum Levels — Hello HG Services!

The Bronze, Silver, and Platinum service level names have been removed. Gold Service has changed its name to HG Services. The HG Services are still $30 a month or $300 a year — the same low fee since 2001. Platinum Service has been removed and now you can have a hosted website for the same $15 a month or $150 a year. Very soon you will be able to add multiple websites — we will have more in the next News Alert on why this is a great idea. The free Bronze listing has been removed and the HG Inspector Search only displays those inspectors using the HG Services. The HG Inspector Search feature will now present fewer choices in the search results, but deliver the HG Services experience that many customers and agents are requesting. One more benefit is that all listings will be equal. (The list rotates over time with different inspectors at the top.) This is a good time for those using HG Services to refresh their listing information for the HG Inspector Search. Inspectors not using HG Services can still participate in the inspector search for a $200 yearly fee and have an equal listing, but we hope those interested will see the cost benefits of using the HG Services for their business. HG Services have had many benefits and now they have one more: customers and agents are often looking for inspectors that specifically use HG. They want the experience and service the inspector using HG Services provides them.

HG Services Tip: Agents' Email Addresses can now be changed by the inspector!

When agents get a new email address, like when they move to a different real estate company, they often want their existing account updated with the new address. While they can do this on their own, some ask their inspector for help. Now you can click on their username (at an uploaded report) and change their email address. To learn more, click on an agent's username at one of your uploaded reports. Thanks go to HomeGauge inspectors on our message boards and Patrick at HG for figuring out a solution for those agents who are too busy to do it themselves!

HomeGauge passed a milestone this month with over 1 million inspection reports uploaded using HG Services! (Millionth report uploaded October 2, 2009.)
