HomeGauge Free Friday training sessions

Come visit cool green Asheville, NC on a Friday for a training session. During the session you will learn how to use the HomeGauge Software and the SHGI Internet tools to your maximum advantage. The session is FREE - all you have to do is pay for your own travel expenses. Russell Buchanan, the HomeGauge designer and company President, wants to help you feel comfortable with the power and flexibility of the HomeGauge software. Please take advantage of this free training.

The training is informal and will be in small groups. The training is for people that are evaluating buying the software as well as our existing customers that would like to learn more. The session will be tailored to the needs of the people that are attending, but in general will consist of a morning and afternoon session described below.

In the morning session we will walk through the HomeGauge Software - how to use and customize it.  We will also show you how to use HomeGauge software combined with our Internet tools, to help maintain and grow your market share in the highly competitive inspector marketplace. 

In the afternoon session we will be using the Pocket PC to do an abbreviated mock inspection in the classroom to tie it all together, and upload a sample report to the Internet, to show how your clients are notified and how they view the final report.

In between the two sessions, we buy your lunch to keep you nourished and give your head a rest. You will also have a chance to hold, touch, and play with a Tablet PC or Pocket PC. There is plenty of time during the training for your individual questions.

To help you get the most out of the training class:

1. Make sure you use the free trial before you come to give you a basic idea of how to navigate in the software. The more you know, the more you will get out of the class.
2. View as many of the tutorials as possible prior to class.
3. We recommend that you do not bring your computer to the class. There is so much information we will be going through, you will gain more by watching the full presentation and asking questions, than trying to click around on your computer with your head down.
4. Our theory is to teach you how to apply the software to the business of inspecting, not how to operate the hardware in detail. We have one full day to expose you to the full power of HomeGauge, and will be moving very quickly to get it all in.
