Subject: NACA is taking applications for Home Inspectors to perform a large
number of home inspections for low and moderate income home-buyers.
The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA) provides the "Best in America" Mortgage to low and moderate income people. NACA uses a comprehensive approach of intensive individual credit counseling, property inspection, and long term post ownership support. It is the most successful program of its kind in the country with thirty offices nationwide and will double in size over the next year. NACA has over ten billion dollars of mortgage funds committed to the program from major lenders including Bank of America and CitiMortgage.
Home inspections are mandatory for every property being considered for a NACA mortgage - thousands are ordered each year. In order to manage the large volume of home inspections, NACA is working with HomeGauge who has developed a state of the art home inspection software program. All NACA mortgages must be done with NACA-HG software. NACA will provide the software for free.
NACA is now accepting applications from home inspectors who wish to
participate in our "Best in America" mortgage program. The application must
be filled out on line at www.naca.com. Go to partners > registration > home
inspectors, then follow the instructions (home inspectors can test the
software that is available by download at the registration page). Additional
information regarding HomeGauge software is available at www.HomeGauge.com where technical support and a free trial CD of the full software program is available. Questions regarding the specific application of the HomeGauge software to local areas should be directed to HomeGauge as well.
The NACA inspectors will receive a considerable amount of business. Questions regarding the role of the home inspector in the NACA program should be directed to Robert Caruso (rcaruso@naca.com).
I look forward to "the best home inspectors in America" joining the NACA program.
