Repeat business for agents!

Agents can keep their name, photo and contact info beside the report at the buyer's sign in. Every time the buyer views the inspection report, the agent’s picture and contact info is seen along with a note that you can edit, such as "I hope you enjoy your home. In the future should you decide to move, please contact me again!"

Normally, when you sell a home, it is very difficult for the agent to get repeat business from the buyer. As time passes they lose touch and forget about how hard you worked for them when they purchased their home. When they decide to sell, they usually call whomever is on their mind at that time. The agent needs some kind of string attached to that home, so when they think of selling, they will think of you. Below is an example of a buyer's report page:

repeat business

It's the best chance at repeat business you will have, and it's free when you use an inspector that uses HomeGauge Services!

Many buyers have long term access to the report and refer to it for repairs and improvements over time. Also, some HomeGauge Services inspectors offer programs such as annual Preventative Maintenance Inspections that provide continued activity each year, with subsequent inspection reports, all at the same location as your picture and contact info. This gives you a unique advantage, as you are always associated with the home through the home inspection report. When it's time to sell the home, the buyer is encouraged to come back to the inspection report, and can present a detailed care report to potential buyers. Here, the buyer will see your picture and perhaps will want to list the house with you, thereby getting that repeat business agents strive to achieve. This service is currently free to the agents, and only possible as long as they use inspectors with HomeGauge Services. After you sign in, click on "Update My Info" to add a picture and a note to your current contact info.

Tell your favorite inspector to use HomeGauge Services!

When agents sign in to see their reports they can see where their picture goes. Click browse and add photo. Its so easy we haven't notified any of them and hundreds have already put their picture in and their own greeting. This works retroactively on all their reports they have. Inspectors should read the Marketing Tips on the Inspector section of this website to see how they can inform their agents of a great marketing opportunity. Feb 13, 2009 6:26 PM

Great idea. I'm all for branding ourselves. We already make a great "team", why not continue to market that way. Feb 12, 2009 10:26 PM

Yes, interesting. How do we inform them and what instructions do they need to upload their info? Can they add to previous inspection reports? Feb 11, 2009 8:17 PM
