How do I get a seller's inspection to potential buyers?
With an uploaded report, HomeGauge makes this easy. The most common methods are to put a link to the inspection in the listing or to email the link directly to potential buyers.

How do I use a seller's inspection?
If you have had a seller's inspection done and the inspector has uploaded the report to HomeGauge.com, request that the inspector set the report to "Public". This means that the report will not require a username or password for viewing. Once it is set as "Public", you can link to it directly from your listing, or provide links to potential buyers directly.

What link do I use?
While you are viewing the report online, look in the "address" or "location" bar of your web browser. You can highlight the URL (the web address), then click on the menu "Edit -> Copy". Then, you can go to your email program, or to your listing information on the web, and paste that link in where it makes sense. To paste it, put your cursor where you'd like it to appear and click on "Edit -> Paste". If you have difficulty getting the link to your report, just ask your home inspector and he or she will be glad to help you get that information.

Can I put this link on my website?
Yes. If you have a webmaster that handles your website edits, you can forward the link to him or her to put online for you.
