James was courteous when we spoke and performed the inspection at the agreed upon date and time. However, I am less than satisfied with the quality of the inspection and the accuracy of their quotes. Despite stating the exact square footage of the home upon my initial phone call, I was hit with a large home fee when i was contacted to revise my inspection date to reflect mutual availability with the seller. Once the home was inspected a large amount of items were missed or not reported. When i called to discuss the report with James he was unable to mention any of the missed items without my prompting, some of which he met with statements to the effect of 'yes i did notice that but its not a problem'. And commented on the lack of grounds being supplied to the outlets in bedrooms not being a problem for code compliance, which is flat out wrong according to the NEC. Not to mention a concern to me as the would be home owner. The seller even commented on the missed items compared to the inspection they had done prior to the listing. Thankfully i already had that report to compare to or i would never have been notified about multiple issues with the home. I would not recommend James or his company to a friend, nor will I use them again.
