I currently live in New Mexico and was buying a home in Georgia. Due to work conflicts I wasn't able to see the house in person. I needed a home inspector I could trust without any reservations. Jeff went above and beyond my expectations. We, regrettably, did not pursue a home inspection when buying our nearly-new house and have had problems ever since we moved in. Scheduling: I had an offer accepted on a property and Mr. Jeff Hopkins agreed to inspect the property on short notice. Additionally, he was willing to work around my schedule to make sure I wasn't inconvenienced since I am working nights. Inspection: Once he arrived, he got straight to work and methodically inspected the house from outside to inside, top to bottom. Mr. Hopkins took the time to go over items he was inspecting and even explained what he was looking for during the inspection. He was very patient and thorough and answered all of my questions along the way. I am now more prepared as a home owner for what to look for in the future. It was apparent that he is very experienced and enjoys his job! Report: The inspection report was very detailed and provided recommendations for each item, along with the standard to which the deficiencies are held. The software he uses even provides the capability for me to tailor the specific items I wanted to target, to generate a request of those specific repairs to my realtor. Mr. Hopkins even called the next day to make sure I understood everything in the report and to make sure I had no additional questions. Overall, this was a positive experience and I recommend Mr. Hopkins for anyone wanting to get a thorough inspection at a reasonable price.
