Checkpoint was far beyond my expectations. They stayed in touch leading up to the day and time of the inspection. I was given a through scope of the work they would be doing to inspect the home. They were very polite and accommodating allowing me to tag along on the accessible areas, for me. They explained as they went and informed me of the nature of their observations at each step, such as; a concern but easily fixable, could cause problems in the future, should be address as soon as possible, safety concern and things like, this was ok when your home was built but should be upgraded now. I was also very impressed with the 'state of the art' of their equipment. An amazing Drone that flew over and around everything above head lever and recorded conditions. They had a high tech, self leveling video camera at the end of a cable they used to scope the inside of pipes and ductwork. After their work, they cleaned up everything, locked doors they opened and gave us a good briefing. That evening I received a full and detailed report with each item, it's pictures and or videos. I don't think I've ever spend money better and accomplished so much for the very reasonable cost. I've got an Engineering background and Checkpoint is as good as I've ever seen. I would very highly recommend them.

Allen did an inspection on a house we were considering buying. His inspection was the most thorough inspection I have ever seen. Very detailed with great pictures and 360 degree views of each room. He found a moisture issue from some leaking flashing and caulk that a specialist later inspected and found mold growing behind the drywall. Based on Allen's inspection we chose not to buy the house. Allen arrived early for his appointment to inspect the new home we had made an offer on ….. Allen and his assistant Kevin were both very thorough and detail oriented, they arrived prepared to go to work ….. they walked and videoed the roof, they inspected, made a video of the crawl space and attic checking heat ducts, insulation, wiring and plumbing in places we probably will never go! They operated appliances, checked smoke and CO2 alarms, furnace, water heater, all appliances ….. the list of things they checked is endless and very comprehensive.
