Unfortunately there aren't many inspectors out there like Ed. Ed is an honest, hard-working, thorough inspector. To put it simply, he is a respectable human being. Ed at Cape Atlantic Inspections did a great job and was very accommodating as the seller hadn't been notified of the inspection date. Ed did the exterior that day and found the time to do the interior the next day. The full report was available in two days rather than the week it normally takes. All in all professional job. I would have no reservation recommending Ed to anyone in the need of a property inspector. Ed was extremely thorough in his inspection of the vacation home I am in the process of buying. He checked all of the home components, mechanical systems, electrical, plumbing, and structural such as the roof, skylights, and deck and railings. Ed even called me after submitting the report. Then he notified me how I could obtain information from the local authorities regarding what building permits the property owner took out which helped me to determine what improvement where made to the property and when they were performed.
