The report covered the structures from top to bottom with noted defects and appropriate observations. Mr Shearouse was an extremely thorough inspector. He followed a set process (roof, exterior, interior). He didn't mind being shadowed and slowed down with questions. There were many times he back tracked to ensure everything got checked even if it meant checking twice. He took his time and was not rushed. Electrical, plumbing, gas, AC, appliances everything was checked. Even the attic was climbed into an given a detailed look. The home was newer (9-10 years old) and I was already comfortable about buying it. But I am much happier now knowing that it is not perfect and I what things need to be addressed. And I know there's nothing serious or even significant waiting to be discovered. If there were, Mr. Shearouse would have found it.
