My first interaction with John Vetter was to have my home inspected by the buyer. They were very fair and thourough in their report. When it came time to have my new home inspected, there was not a doubt that I wanted John Vetter to do the inspection. On initial contact with Mr. Vetter for an estimate for a home inspection, I was quoted a price based on square footage, At the time of payment was giving a figure $250 dollars over estimate! Reason given for difference in original estimate was for a pool inspection and a wind mitigation report. He failed to mention these added expense when he gave estimate. At time of home inspection I asked him if he would generate a written report with a dollar figure to repair items found wrong with house. He said that he would write that report for me to present to the sellers. That report was never provided! He was late for the appointment, and when leaving the home after the inspection he made statements in front of the seller that were up setting! In the wind mitigation report he indicated the home had a shingle roof when in fact the home has a metal roof!
He lacks people skills and made this portion of home buying an unpleasant experience! Would not RECOMMEND.........!!!!!!!

Very thourough inspection. They are very polite and professional.
As a seller you don't really want to hear the bad news about your home, but in all fairness Vetter & Son's provided the buyer, and seller, important information on the condition of our home. They helped the buyers understand the issues in a perspective way.
I would recommend them to buyers and sellers alike, even homeowners in need of good information on the condition of their home.
