We find that issues and situations usually happen a few months after clients move into their new home, not in every case but it dose happen. Just pick up the phone and give us a call, we are happy to assist you. We understand that not everyone is knowledgeable in home components and building construction.
We especially want to be there for the 'First Time' home buyer so they can have confidence to go forward with their purchase decision. We were once first time home buyers ourselves so we can relate to the feeling of having 'buyers remorse' that stems from fears of the unknown.
For example; we had clients who were first time home buyers call us after three months of occupying thier new home to say water had penetration through the foundation at the right front corner of the home.
We went back through the inspection report and asked if our recommendations were adhered to. They admitted that with all the confusion of moving and settling in that it slipped their minds.
We had recommended in our inspection report to clean out the gutters along the front of the home, extend a leader pipe from the corner down spout to expel water at a minimum of 6' feet from the foundation and that the grading along the front wall to be built up to slope away from the foundation.
These areas were identified on our return visit to the property to be the issues. The items were corrected and "problem solved"! These corrections also saved our clients thousands of dollars they might have paid should they have listened to Water Proofing Contractors.
