I hired Baird Ransom to inspect a home I was considering purchasing, and I'm very glad I did. Baird was responsive, friendly, and personable from the moment I contacted him - which was in the evening the day before Thanksgiving. During the inspection itself, Baird demonstrated an impressive command of residential construction and a keen attention to detail. He knows how houses should be built, and is able to quickly spot when something seems off.
Baird has developed a thorough inspection process that clearly works well. He involved me throughout and was patient with my questions. Additionally, Baird acknowledged the limits of his knowledge: one question I asked would have required him to guess at the answer, and he told me that doing so would be a disservice to me. By the end of the day, I was confident that I knew what I was getting into. Baird then followed up in a very timely manner with a detailed inspection report.
