Special pre-announcements: HomeGauge has been used by more than 10,000 inspectors and several thousand currently remain strong and active in the business community. HomeGauge will continue to accept new inspectors into the fold, but a shift has occurred! Thanks to inspectors like you, HomeGauge dominates the industry and we are the key-makers (meaning you, the inspector who uses HomeGauge, and the HG Staff). HG will focus on its HomeGauge Services subscribers to create a marketing engine for just $300 a year (basic)! Our biggest addition to the HomeGauge Services is designed to set you apart from all other home inspectors in the industry. It is called The HomeGauge Network. Stay tuned!
Several other new products or services created by HomeGauge are in the pipeline, but are too sensitive to mention at this moment. Ok, well a few…yes, we will be coming out with a Droid and iPhone/iPad app, but at first it will be a limited app. It will be similar to how the Pocket HG works, as far as still requiring the full version of HomeGauge to complete. Hey, how about an app that you can give your agents, mortgage brokers and attorneys that helps you make more money? Here at HomeGauge, we are going to focus our energy in 2011 and beyond on those of you supporting us every day using HomeGauge Services.
Some other changes you'll see soon include when you upload your report (as html), the agent or buyer will be able to automatically save it to their computer in PDF format. Continue to upload using the customer and agent preferred html setting (which is best when viewing a report), but we will automatically convert a copy to PDF on the website for those customers or agents who want to save a copy.
HomeGauge at InspectionWorld 2011
HomeGauge was happy to attend this year's InspectionWorld in Atlanta. We enjoyed the opportunity to talk to many new inspectors and got feedback from many of our existing customers. InspectionWorld 2011 was a success and we'd like to thank ASHI for putting on another great conference!
