I recently had the pleasure of working with Luis Mejías for the inspection of the home I’m purchasing, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. Luis did an outstanding job from beginning to end. He inspected absolutely everything and pointed out every issue, no matter how small. He took the time to verify and answer every question we had, making sure we fully understood each finding. The inspection report he delivered was extremely thorough, detailed, and easy to understand—one of the best reports I’ve ever seen. We were genuinely impressed by the quality of his work and the professionalism he demonstrated throughout the entire process. On top of that, Luis proved to be an exceptional human being—kind, patient, and truly attentive. After the inspection, I had to call him because I thought I had found an error in the report. He immediately took the time to clarify the issue and kindly pointed out that I should double-check the name with my insurance company. It turned out the mistake was on their end, not his. Even so, he remained helpful and friendly the whole time. I am extremely satisfied with his service and very grateful for the way he handled everything. I would recommend Luis for your home inspection! Despite buying a new build home, we still opted to go for a home inspection. During his initial inspection Luis found a couple of minor issues, as well as some moderate concerns. All concerns were addressed by the seller, and we would not have known about them without Luis. He even offered to reinspect areas of concern to make sure they were taken care of properly. When we made the move from New York to Florida and were in the process of purchasing our new home, we were connected with Luis from Horizon Home Inspection for a thorough inspection. He took the time to explain what he was looking for during the pre-dry wall inspection and sent me the very thorough and completed inspection report the same day as the inspection. The drone pictures of the house were especially useful, as were the photographs of the areas that the builder needed to fix.
