When we made the move from New York to Florida and were in the process of purchasing our new home, we were connected with Luis from Horizon Home Inspection for a thorough inspection. We decided to hire him and were extremely impressed by his attention to detail. Luis arrived on time and guided us through the entire inspection, keeping us informed every step of the way. The next day, we received a comprehensive report via email. This report not only highlighted issues that we were already aware of from our own inspections, but also uncovered serious issues that had gone unnoticed by us. The report was filled with numerous photos of current and potential future problems, including aerial shots taken by a drone. Thanks to Luis' report, we were able to negotiate an additional $15,000 off the purchase price of our home.

Excellent inspector. He took the time to explain what he was looking for during the pre-dry wall inspection and sent me the very thorough and completed inspection report the same day as the inspection. The drone pictures of the house were especially useful, as were the photographs of the areas that the builder needed to fix. I don't compliment easily and I don't put a lot of faith in online ratings; however, I rate Luis as high as you can possibly rate a service provider. His inspection was the reason for pulling out of a previous purchase and I absolutely used him for the next inspection. After the first inspection, I had enough confidence in him to not be present at the subsequent inspection. I do not EVER recommend doing that, but after seeing his timeliness, professionalism, and quality of work in person I felt 100% confidence in him.
