New HomeGauge Training Center

HomeGauge had its first training class in our new Training Center!

Our 3-day sold-out training class in Asheville went great! This was our best training class ever and it focused on SPEED! We went over HG5, the HGC, and how to cut down on report writing time. This intense 3-day training covered in-depth use of the software and we created mock reports using real props and cross-sections of homes.

New 3-Day Training Dates in Asheville Announced!

For those who missed out on last week's HomeGauge training, we have scheduled 2 new training dates for later this summer. Our next 3-day Asheville training will be held June 4-6, 2015. If that date doesn't work for you, we are also having a 3-day Asheville training on July 16-18, 2015. The cost for our 3-day training classes is $300 for the 1st inspector, $200 for each additional (from the same company). Don't wait to sign up, our 3-day training classes fill up fast and space is limited in our Training Center. Call us at 828-254-2030 to get signed up. If you can't wait, you can attend our upcoming 1-day class in Vancouver, BC (below).

HomeGauge Training
Ooooh Ca-na-da!

It is glorious for HomeGauge to announce a free training class the day before the CAHPI BC Spring Conference.

Don't wait, this training is on May 7th, and we encourage inspectors all around the area to attend. We don't offer many trainings in Washington State, so this is a great opportunity for inspectors in that area to come as well.

Richmond, BC (CAHPI): One day training class on May 7, 2015 from 9am - 5pm at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel. Inspectors registered for the CAHPI (BC) Spring Conference can attend this class for FREE! The cost to those not attending the conference is $99/inspector. Topics will include: Starting your report, creating a user name/password, navigating HG, modifying your template and uploading /distributing reports. This class is a great choice for beginners or seasoned users needing a refresher.

We look forward to seeing you! Space is limited so call to reserve your spot today — 828-254-2030.

INACHI Narratives Template
InterNACHI Narratives HG Template Now For Sale

Kenton Shepard finished his InterNACHI Narratives HomeGauge Template!

We've been getting asked a lot when this would be available, and the answer is... NOW! This template is a marked improvement over our competitors' versions in that it has been made to be a usable reporting template, instead of just a method to store thousands of comments. We worked closely with Kenton to create a top-notch template that's usable right out of the box. Check out the link below to his website for more information about the template and for purchase details.

HomeGauge Support Center
New HomeGauge Support Center

HomeGauge has been building a new online Support Center!

We now have a searchable site where you can find answers to your HomeGauge questions when you need them. Topics can be searched by keywords or can be navigated by categories. Previously, our support documents have been scattered throughout our website and message board, and it has been hard at times for our users to find what they need. Now everything is in one place! If you can't find what you're looking for, you can click on the "Ask a Question" button. Click on the login button in the upper right of the site to login with your HomeGauge account to avoid having to enter captchas.

What about the HomeGauge Message Board?

Our Message Board has served us well over the years, but we've decided that we will be shutting it down to better focus our support to our customer base. Our new Support Center will be a great place to ask questions when you need an answer. Users can comment on FAQs and can also ask questions or answer other users' questions — if an answer is good, we'll make it into a permanent FAQ. We've decided to move our social interactions to other online locations. Want to leave us a comment? Visit us on Facebook, we'd love to hear from you. Want to have a more engaging interaction with us and other inspectors? Visit our special HomeGauge forum on InterNACHI's website. Dang, you can even just call or email us if you want!

Buyers Protection Group Is Hiring!

Looking for something different? One of our long term partners, BPG, is growing and is hiring more home inspectors! They offer competitive compensation and benefits. Visit their website for more information.
